Aug 24 (Reuters) – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted the need for the United States and South Korea to remain in close coordination on matters integral to their alliance in a call with his counterpart on Monday, the State Department said.
Rubio and South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun discussed a range of issues in the alliance, State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott added in a statement.
